ICT or Information Communication and Technology is the leading trend in the 21st century, and
as such, it is imperative that young people, being the future of any nation, get an understanding
of how it works.
Youth Crime Watch of Liberia has partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development
Organization (UNIDO) to host and organize Liberia's chapter of the Mano River Union Youth
Communication platform. At the platform, which we call the hub, we provide different kinds of
ICT training for young people and the general public.
At the end of every quarter we hope to train hundreds of young people in ICT. Our training
includes Application Software (Microsoft Office and open Office) and Operating Systems (Windows and
Ubutu). In Addition, we also offer graphic designing applications (Corel Draw and Photoshop). Finally,
we also offer Web Development (HTML, CSS and JavaScript). When our students graduate, they are ready
to work and face the challenging industry.
