With a drive to target the very causes of crime, our vision began a journey that is still changing the face of Liberia today. Youth Crime Watch of Liberia was officially launched on Friday 28th of January 2005 on the main campus of the University of Liberia with youth from all facets of the Liberian society attending.
At the heart of Youth Crime Watch of Liberia’s programs is a strategy or theory of change that recognizes the need for active, empowered and enabled youth citizens who have a channel for interaction with an accountable state and society with the goal of reducing and preventing crimes. YCWL key activities include: community development projects; skill-based training on technology and youth leadership
Youth Crime Watch of Liberia exists to positively impact the youthful population, and to inspire them to play key roles that are vital to national development.
